Mary Eubanks

Mary received her Master’s degree in Human Development and Psychological Counseling from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. After receiving her Master’s degree she worked in higher education from 1986 to 1998. Mary left Higher Education and entered the Medical field in 1998. She joined the staff at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital where she worked in the Human Resources Department, Patient Accounting and Finance Department. The most rewarding experience in the Patient Access Department was assisting with the development of the Cerner Registration program that was used for registering patients in both the Hospital and Physician Practices. After leaving Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, she worked as a temp in the Student Disability Access Center and Medical Records at UVA. When a full-time position opened in the Student Disability Access Center, she joined the team as the Administrative Assistant/Notetaking Coordinator.

Mary has one son and two grandchildren. When not working in SDAC, she loves interacting with her grandchildren, enjoys participating in church activities, collecting wind chimes, playing computer games, and working jigsaw puzzles.
