Sarah grew up in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated with her Masters of Education in Higher Education from UVA in 2018. Before that, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from James Madison University. After graduation, she was the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Coordinator at James Madison’s Disability Services Office. When she is not at work you can find Sarah at local music events, breweries, and walking on trails. She also coaches swimming in the Charlottesville area. At SDAC she works with students with a wide range of disabilities including learning disabilities, ADHD, low vision, chronic health, and more.
