Demetrice Baskerville joined the Division of Student Affairs in June 2017 and serves as Senior Assistant Dean of Students for Care and Support Services.

Demetrice uses he/him/his pronouns.  Demetrice provides general student support and crisis response both during the day and after hours in the Dean on Call rotation.  In addition, Demetrice coordinates the Dean on Call program, serves as Student Affairs representative for the interdisciplinary Threat Assessment Team, and other duties as assigned. 

Demetrice earned a B.S. in Elementary/Special Education from East Carolina University, a M.S. from Arkansas Tech University in College Student Personnel, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in the School of Education and Human Development at UVA. As a lifelong learner, Demetrice recently became a Certified Student Affairs Educator (CASEd) demonstrating ongoing learning, competencies, and knowledge in student affairs work. Demetrice has experience in Housing and Residence Life, Student Conduct, Title IX, and Career Services.
