Jackie Khawand Ward (she/her) joined the Division of Student Affairs in September 2021 and serves as an Assistant Dean for Care and Support Services. Jackie provides general student support and crisis response both during the day and after-hours in the Dean on Call rotation. In addition to this direct work with students, Jackie is also the primary liaison between CASS and the Title IX Office, as well as a CASS representative on the Hoo Needs Help emergency funding team.

Before returning to UVA, Jackie worked as a Coordinator in Student Conduct and Academic Integrity at the University of Central Florida. Jackie earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Mary Washington in 2017 and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Virginia in 2019.
