Jason joined the Office of Health Promotion to drive the development of a strategic plan for violence prevention and healthy sexuality and continue using data to drive positive organizational change at UVA. Prior to this position, Jason worked for four years in the School of Engineering and Applied Science’s diversity office. He has also worked in a variety of units across UVA, including the Contemplative Sciences Center, the School of Education and Human Development, and the Maxine Platzer Lynn’s Women’s Center. Prior to Virginia, Jason has lived in Tennessee, Michigan, Texas, and Missouri. He enjoys a life of nature, music, and books with his partner, Ellen, their two children, Hollis and Simon, and two dogs, Osa and Ziggy (pictured below).
