Madeline Casper (she/her) joined the Division of Student Affairs in November 2022 and serves as the Basic Needs Coordinator for Care & Support Services. Madeline supports students who are experiencing financial difficulties, including food and housing insecurity.

In addition to direct work with students, Madeline oversees the UVA Community Food Pantry, convenes the Food Insecurity Working Group meeting, and serves as a representative on the Hoo Needs Help emergency funding team.

Madeline earned her bachelor's degree from Davidson College in 2018. After serving as a college adviser in Charlotte, NC, Madeline received her master’s in public administration and nonprofit management from NC State in 2021.
